Quarterly national accounts, 3rd quarter 2007
Statistics Iceland releases now a new issue of Statistical Series. This issue presents the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 3rd quarter of 2007. In real terms the GDP grew by 4.3% from the same quarter of the previous year. Total domestic expenditure grew by just over 2% in real terms, exports increased by over 7% and imports by 2% during the period.
Seasonally adjusted series shows a 1.0% growth in GDP in the 3rd quarter of 2007 after a 3.3% growth in the 2nd quarter.
