New registrations and insolvencies of limited liability companies in December 2011
In December 2011, 137 new private limited companies were registered compared with 144 in December 2010. The largest number of new registrations was in Financial and insurance activities. 1,700 new limited companies were registered in 2011 compared with 1,627 in 2010, which is about 4.5% increase.
In December 2011, there were 137 corporate insolvencies compared with 105 in December 2010. The largest number of insolvencies was in Construction. In 2011, there were 1,578 corporate insolvencies, which is about 60.7% increase compared with 982 in 2010. Largest number of insolvencies in 2011 was in Construction, 329 in total.
