Short term statistics on turnover and number of employees are based on PAYE and VAT registers from the Internal Revenue Directorate. Yearly statistics on the structure of the business sector (SBS) are based on corporate tax returns and enterprise surveys. Enterprise demography and statistics on board members is based on the Register of Enterprises maintained by the Internal Revenue Directorate.
