Value of sold production 2011

Value of sold production 2011 The total value of sold production in 2011 amounted to 728 billion ISK, which was an increase of 9.5% from previous year. At the same time the Producer Price Index increased by 9.2% which means that the total value of sold production increased by 0.3% in real terms. As in previous years, fish products and basic metals have the highest proportion, with fish products accounting for 34.1% of the total value and basic metals for 35.1%.

Producer prices decrease by 1.4% from previous month

The producer price index (PPI) in March 2013 was 213.8 points (4. quarter 2005 = 100), 1.4% lower than in the previous month. The PPI for fish products was 253.2 points which is 3.6% lower than in February 2013 (effect on the index -1.3%) and the PPI for power intensive industry products was 235.8 points, 1.6% lower (-0.5%).
