The total turnover of enterprises in activities that are subject to VAT amounted to 590 billion ISK in the period of November-December 2013, which is an increase of 5% from the same period of 2012. The total VAT turnover of the whole year in 2013 amounted to 3.340 billion ISK, which is a 3.3% increase from the year before.
An increase in turnover has been within all activity sectors except for manufacturing. The highest increase in turnover was in mining and quarrying, accommodation and food service activities, and in Construction.
