The producer price index (PPI) in October 2015 was 203.5 points (4. quarter 2005 = 100), which is 1.2% lower than in the previous month. The PPI for fish products was 260.5 points which is 1.7% lower than in September 2015 (effect on the index -0.7%) and the PPI for power intensive industry products was 185.0 points, 0.4% lower than in the previous month (-0.2%). The PPI for food products decreased by 0.4% (-0.1) and the index for other manufactured products decreased by 2.3% (-0.2%).
The PPI for domestically sold products was 1.0% (-0.3%) lower than in the previous month and the index for exported products decreased by 1.3% (-0.9%).
Compared with October 2014, the PPI has decreased by 5.2%. The PPI for fish products decreased by 1.3% and the PPI for power intensive industry has decreased by 16.9%. The price of food products has increased by 2.0%.
