The producer price index (PPI) in September 2015 was 205.9 points (4. quarter 2005 = 100), which is 2.7% lower than in the previous month. The PPI for fish products was 265.1 points which is 2.6% lower than in August 2015 (effect on the index -0.8%) and the PPI for power intensive industry products was 185.7 points, 7.9% lower than in the previous month (-2.7%). The PPI for food products remained unchanged between months while the index for other manufactured products increased by 4.5% (0.8%).
The PPI for domestically sold products was 1.7% (0.5%) higher than in the previous month while the index for exported products decreased by 4.5% (-3.2%).
Compared with September 2014, the PPI has decreased by 2.9%. The PPI for fish products increased by 2.4% and the PPI for power intensive industry has decreased by 16.0%. The price of food products has increased by 3.1%.
