The producer price index (PPI) in December 2014 was 223.0 points (4. quarter 2005 = 100), 3.3% higher than in the previous month. The PPI for fish products was 273.5 points which is 2.1% higher than in November 2014 (effect on the index 0.7%) and the PPI for power intensive industry products was 237.6 points, 6.5% higher (2.2%). The PPI for food products increased by 0.2% (0%) and the PPI for other manufactured products increased by 2.2% (0.4%).
The PPI for domestically sold products was 0.9% (0.2%) higher than in the previous month while the index for exported products increased by 4.2% (3.1%).
Compared with December 2013 the PPI has increased by 12.2%. The PPI for fish products increased by 9.6% and the PPI for power intensive industry increased by 24.9%. In the same period the PPI for food products rose by 1.1%.
