Meat production in August 2024 was 1,790 tonnes, 3% more than in August the pervious year. This was mostly due to 28% more pork production than in August 2023.
Poultry production was 2% less than in August last year and beef production decreased as well by 13%. No sheep were, however, slaughtered in August.
Meanwhile, hatching of poultry chicks for meat production was the same as in August last year.
