Around one-quarter of the population aged 25-64, or 51,500 persons, took part in lifelong learning in 2023, 21.3% of men and 29.3% of women. This is a similar proportion as in the previous year, when 26.7% of the population took part in lifelong learning. Participation in lifelong learning increases with more education and is greater among the unemployed and the employed than among those who are not in the labour force.
