The total turnover of enterprises in activities that are subject to VAT amounted to 527 billion ISK in the period of January-February 2015, which is an increase of 9,6% compared to the same period in 2014. In the last 12 months the increase is 6.3% compared with the previous 12 months. The biggest increase is in Mining and quarrying. Statistics Iceland is also publishing a new table that will be reviewed once a year, containing VAT turnover by municipalities of enterprises, based on their legal residence.
