The total turnover of enterprises in activities that are subject to VAT amounted to 610 billion ISK in the period of July-August 2014, which is an increase of 4,2% compared to the same period of 2013. The biggest increase over the last 12 months has been in Construction, about 16,1% increase. Also there´s an increase in Accommodation and food service and in Mining and quarrying, compared to the prior 12 months.
