An error has been encountered in exports of frozen capelin in 2005. Exports amounting to 838.2 million ISK were reported as exported to the United States while in fact they were exported to Russia and Ukraine. Consequently, the respective statistical tables on our website have been corrected and the Statistical Series External Trade of Goods in 2005, published on 16 May 2006, will be reissued.

A mistake was made in the publication process in the above mentioned publication regarding tables 7-10. These tables will also be corrected in the new issue on External Trade of Goods in 2005. Statistics Iceland regrets this mistake and hopes it has not caused too much inconvenience.
