The surplus of balance of trade in goods and services in the first quarter of 2018, as published in National Accounts and Balance of Payments, was 4,800 million ISK according to preliminary figures, compared with 6,400 million ISK in the first quarter of 2017.
The deficit of converted trade in goods was 27,800 million ISK while the surplus of balance of trade in services was 32,600 million ISK, in the first quarter of 2018. Total export of goods and services for the first quarter of 2018 was over 272,100 million ISK while total import of goods and services was 267,400 million ISK.
These figures are published in the Transition table on Statistic Iceland’s website, which harmonizes the standards for trade in goods and balance of payment.
