According to preliminary figures for June 2016, the value of exported goods amounted to ISK 56,200 million fob and the value of imported goods amounted to ISK 68,500 million fob. Thus, there was a deficit of ISK 12,300 million in June, calculated on fob value.
Note that an estimation for fuels purchased abroad by Icelandic ships and aircraft is now included in the preliminary figures.
