Export of services for the second quarter of 2011, according to preliminary figures, was 86,039 million ISK and the import of services 70,135 million ISK. Therefore, the services trade surplus in the second quarter of 2010 was 15,905 million ISK.
Transport was the largest category within export of services and the surplus of transport was 16,292 million ISK. Other services than transport and travel was the largest category within imports of services and the deficit of other services was 1,163 million ISK. The surplus of travel services was 775 million ISK.
