According to preliminary figures for July 2009 the value of exported goods amounted to ISK 41,300 million fob and the value of imported goods amounted to ISK 34,900 million fob. Thus, there was a trade surplus of ISK 6,400 million in July 2009, according to the preliminary figures, calculated on fob value.
There is an indication of a decrease in the exported value of marine products, an increase in the value of exported manufacturing products and an increase in imported fuels and lubricants in July compared with June 2009.
