Exports of goods amounted to 72.4 billion ISK fob in August 2026 (72.4 billion ISK according to preliminary figures), while imports amounted to 135.6 billion ISK cif (135.5 billion ISK according to preliminary figures) following the revision of the preliminary data. Consequently, the August trade balance in goods remained virtually unchanged after the revision and showed a deficit of 63.1 billion ISK (63.1 billion ISK according to preliminary figures).
The value of exports was largely unchanged from the preliminary figures, while the value of imports increased by only 33 million ISK following the revision of the preliminary data.
