The Icelandic catch amounted to 68 thousand tonnes in May 2025, which is 22% less than in May 2024. Demersal catch decreased by 7% between years and was 42 thousand tonnes.
During the twelve-month period from June 2024 to May 2025, the total catch was 954 thousand tonnes compared with 1,088 thousand tonnes one year earlier which is a 12% decrease.
