The total catch of Icelandic vessels was just over 47 thousand tonnes in December 2014 which is a decrease of 5.5% compared to December 2013. During the year 2014 the total catch was 1080 thousand tonnes which is a 21% decreased compared to the year 2013. At constant price the December catch was 24,1% lower than in the same month 2013 and the fixed price rate for the year 2014 is 12.5% lower than for the year 2013.
