Yearly value of catch of Icelandic vessels decreased by 4,1% from 2012 to 2013. Total value of demersal species decreased by 4,7% between years, mostly due to decreased prices for cod. In 2013 the vessels caught 15,3% more cod than in 2012 while the total value of cod catches decreased by 4,4%.
