The value of catch in January 2015 was 21.3% higher than in January 2014. The increase was mostly noted in pelagic catch, which increased from ca. 900 million ISK to 2404 millions. Catch value decreased by 8.5% for 12 month period from February 2014 to January 2015 compared to the same period one year earlier. Still, the value of cod increased by 10% for this period.
