In July 2015 the value of the total catch was nearly 11.9 billion ISK which is nearly 2% increase compared to July 2014. Value of demersal catch was 6.3 billion ISK, an increase of 14,4% compared to july 2014. Value of pelagic catch was 3.8 billion ISK a decrease of nearly 27% which is mostly due to less mackerel catch. Value of flatfish was nearly 1.3 billion ISK in July, compared to 468 million in July 2014, the biggest factor is much larger catch of Greenland halibut, which value was 1,154 millions ISK in July. Value of shellfish was 385 millions ISK which is nealy the same amount as in July 2014.
