The value of catch from Icelandic vessels in July 2018 was 10 billion ISK, an increase of 20% compared with July 2017. Demersal catch value was 6.2 billion ISK, an increase of 22.2%. Value of flatfish was just over 1.5 billion ISK, an increase of 27.8% from July last year. Value of pelagic catch was 1.9 billion ISK, 17.4% more than in July 2017. Total value of catch in the 12 month period from August 2017 to July 2018 was 124 billion ISK which is an 11% increase compared with the same period a year earlier.
