The value of catch in October 2015 was just below 12 billion ISK, which is 13.% less than in October 2014. The value of demersal catch increased by 0.3% from one October to the other.
For the 12 month period from November 2014 to October 2015 the total value of catch increased by 9%. This was mostly due to ISK 9.7 billion increase in value of demersal catch and 5.2 billion ISK increase in the catch of pelagic species.
