A new issue of the Statistical Series about the Building cost index 2008 has been released. The issue shows the development of the BCI in the previous twelve months.

The building cost index rose by 26.8% in the period from December 2007 to December 2008. Labour cost increased by 13.4% (effect on index 7.0%) and material cost increased by 41.1% (19.8%).
