The Building Cost Index compiled in the middle of December 2004 stood at 304.7 points (June 1987=100) and is 0.030 per cent lower than in the previous month. The index applies to january. Comparable Index older base (December 1982=100) is 975 points.
In the last twelve months the BCI has risen by 5.9 per cent.
In 2004 the Building Cost Index was on average 4.3 per cent higher than in 2003.
