The building cost index compiled in the middle of May 2018 is 139.1 points (December 2009=100), 1.2% higher than in the previous month.
Prices of labour cost increased by 2.8% (effect on the index 1.0%) following an amendment to wage contracts for craftspeople and labour workers in construction. Prices of domestic material increased by 0.6% (effect on the index 0.2%). In the last twelve months the BCI has increased by 5.7%. The index applies to June 2018.
