NEWS RELEASE INDUSTRY 20 OCTOBER 2015

The building cost index compiled in the middle of October 2015 is 127.9 points (December 2009=100), 0.1% higher than in the previous month.

The price increase is primarily due to a 0.3% increase in labor costs between months (effect on the index 0.1%) due to a recent agreement of wage contracts for metalworkers. In the last twelve months the BCI has increased by 6.1%. The index applies to November 2015.
