Statistics Iceland has created Android app which enables users to access the booklet Iceland in figures on smartphones and tablet PCs for key figures on Iceland. This is the first time Statistics Iceland disseminates statistics in this format.

Iceland in figures is a popular booklet, especially for tourist guides, which has been published in English for 17 years. It is based on the Statistical yearbook of Iceland and comprises information on e.g. the weather, environment, population, wages and income, labour market, economy, external trade,  finance, prices, consumption, national accounts, health, social affairs, education and culture. The booklet includes 50 tables and 15 graphs.

The app published by Statistics Iceland today is for Android and can be downloaded free of charge in the Google Play app store. The application can also be accessed by smartphones with the QR code below.
