A working group between Statistics Iceland, the Prime Minister‘s Office and the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs recently delivered a report with suggestions on how to conduct a time survey in Iceland. The plan is to conduct the Icelandic Time Survey (ICE-T) in the third quarter of 2023 and publish results in the beginning of 2024. This project is also a preparation for the legally binding time use survey which will be mandatory within the European Statistical system in 2029.
