Statistics Iceland conducted a user satisfaction survey in February and March 2015. The average value of general satisfaction with Statistics Iceland was 6,6 on a scale ranging from 0-10. This value is somewhat lower than a corresponding value from surveys conducted in 2009 and 2013. The two most satisfied groups of users were those that used official statistics for their own hobbies or as a part of the work for public institutions. Satisfaction with specific categories of statistics was influenced by the extent to which they fulfilled users' needs, how quickly results were published and how easily understandable they were. The results of the survey will be used in strategic work within Statistics Iceland.
