The CPI compiled in February 2005 is 239.7 points (May 1988=100), 0.21% higher than in the previous month. The CPI less housing cost is 228.6 points, 0.26% lower than in January.
Housing prices rose by 2.8% (effect on the CPI 0.38%), prices for housing maintenance rose by 2.5% (0.09%) and electricity charges rose by 4.2% (0.07%).
Owing to ongoing winter sales, the prices of clothing and footwear fell by 4.9% (-0.25%) and the prices of food and beverages fell by 0.7% (-0.11%).
The CPI in February 2005 is 4.5% higher than in February 2004 and the CPI less housing cost is 2.3% higher. The CPI rose by 0.8% over the last three months equivalent to an annual inflation of 3.1% (CPI less housing cost minus 2.1%).
The credit term index in March 2005 is 239.7 points. The old credit term index is 4,733 points in March 2005.
