The Consumer Price Index (CPI) based on prices in July 2025, is 658.6 points (May 1988=100), 0.32% higher than in the previous month. The CPI less housing cost is 528.5 points, 0.32% higher than in June 2025.
Summer sales are ongoing and prices of clothing and footwear decreased by 4.8% (effect on index -0.18%) and furniture, furnishings, etc decreased by 2.2% (-0.10%). Prices of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels increased by 0.4% (0.13%) and prices of international airfares increased by 19.9% (0.48%).
The CPI is 4.0% higher in July 2025 than in July 2024 and the CPI less housing cost is 3.0% higher than one year ago.
The CPI compiled in the middle of July 2025, 658.6 points, is applicable for indexation purposes in September 2025.
