Winter sales have widely come to an end causing an 16.9% increase in prices of clothing and footwear (effect on the CPI 0.72%).
Owner occupied housing cost rose by 1.1% (0.19%).
The CPI in March 2006 is 4.5% higher than in March 2005 while the CPI less housing cost is 1.8% higher than one year ago. The CPI rose by 1.4% over the last three months equivalent to an annual inflation rate of 5.6% (CPI less housing cost: 2.8% inflation).
The credit terms index in April 2006 is 252.3 points. The old credit terms index is 4.982 points in April 2006.
