Cost of owner occupied housing rose by 1.0% (effect on the index 0.12%), of which 0.15% effect stems from higher market prices of housing and -0.03% effect from lower real interest rates. Prices of groceries decreased by 0.6% (-0.10%).
The CPI is 5.2% higher in November 2011 than in November 2010 and the CPI less housing cost is 4.7% higher than one year ago. Over the last three months, the CPI has increased by 1.0%, equivalent to an annual inflation rate of 3.9% (3.6% inflation for the CPI less housing cost).
The CPI compiled in the middle of November 2011, 384.6 points, is applicable for indexation purposes in January 2012. The old credit terms index for January 2012 is 7,594 points.
