The consumer price index (CPI) based on prices in September 2025, is 658.3 points (May 1988=100), 0.11% higher than in the previous month. The CPI less housing cost is 525.8 points, 0.13% lower than in August 2025.
Prices of clothing and footwear increased by 2.9% (effect on index 0.10%) and cost of owner occupied housing (imputed rent) rose by 0.9% (0.18%). Prices of international airfares decreased by 15.4% (-0.39%).
The CPI is 4.1% higher in September 2025 than in September 2024 and the CPI less housing cost is 3.2% higher than one year ago.
The CPI compiled in the middle of September 2025, 658.3 points, is applicable for indexation purposes in November 2025.
