Summer sales are widely in action causing a decrease in prices of clothing and footwear by 11.6% (effect on the index -0.5 %). Prices of international airfares rose by 32.7% (0.45%) and cost of owner occupied housing rose by 0.8% (0.12%).
The CPI is 1.9% higher in July 2015 than in July 2014 while the CPI less housing cost is 0.4% higher than one year ago.
The CPI compiled in the middle of July 2015, 430.0 points, is applicable for indexation purposes in September 2015. The old credit terms index for September 2015 is 8,490 points.
