The HICP average for member countries of the European Economic Area (EU-countries, Iceland and Norway) was 102.8 points (2005=100) in November and was unchanged from October. At the same time, the HICP for Iceland was 107.1 points, also unchanged from the previous month.
The 12-month rate of change of the HICP was 2.1% for the EEA, 1.9% for the Euro-zone and 6.1% for Iceland.
The highest inflation rates in the EEA in this twelve month period were 6.4% in Hungary and 6.3% in Latvia. The lowest inflation rates were 0.9% in Malta and 1.0% in the Czech Republic.
