The producer price index (PPI) increased by 1.1% between January and February 2018. Prices of marine products decreased by 2.4% (effect on the index -0.6%) while prices of power intensive industry products increased by 5.8% (1.9%). Food prices increased by 0.3% (0.1%) while other industry prices decreased by 1.3% (-0.3%).
The PPI has increased by 4.2% from February 2017 to February 2018. Thereof prices of marine products have increased by 4.3% while other industry decreased by 6.3%. Prices of power intensive industry products have increased by 13.8% but prices of food increased by 0.5% in the same period. Exported products increased by 8.2% in one year, while products sold domestically decreased by 2.9%.
