The producer price index (PPI) in June 2016 was 201.3 points (4. quarter 2005 = 100), which is -0.1% lower than in the previous month. The PPI for fish products was 262.9 points which is 0.3% higher than in May (effect on the index 0.1%) and the PPI for power intensive industry products was 176.2 points, 1.0% lower than in the previous month (-0.3%). The PPI for food products was unaffected and the index for other manufactured products increased by 0.8% (0.1%).
The PPI for domestically sold products was 0.2% (0.1%) higher than in the previous month and the index for exported products decreased by 0.2% (-0.2%).
Compared with June 2015, the PPI has decreased by 9.3%. The PPI for fish products has decreased by 5.2% and the PPI for power intensive industry has decreased by 22.0%. The price of food products has increased by 3.7%.
