The central government finances 2010, preliminary figures, published on March 9th and March 14th 2011 have be revised due to central government’s called guarantees of amount 22.5 billion ISK at end of 2010 that had not been included. This correction was mainly related to the old Agricultural Fund (13.8 billion ISK). The financial balance of the central government is consequently revised to 95 billion ISK in deficit or 6.2% of GDP instead of 72.5 billion ISK and 4.7% of GDP in previous issues. The central government total expenditure is revised to 578 billion ISK or 37.5% of GDP instead of 555 billion ISK and 36% of GDP. This revision affects the general government finance correspondently. The new issues on the government finances from March 9th and 14th 2011 will be updated.
