A total of 4,729 persons with disabilities received services from 15 municipal service areas in 2015, a decrease of 101 (-2.1%) from the year before. Of these 1,673 were children 17 years old or younger (35.4%). More males than females received services or 62%, but boys were a majority of 0–17 years old or nearly 68%. People receiving services were 1.4% of the population, 2.1% of all children and 0.7% of the population 67 years or older.
In December 2015 nearly 21% individuals with disabilities lived in collective living quarters, nearly 11% in rented dwellings owned by municipalities or non-profit organizations and 52% lived with parents or relatives.
