In April 2014, overnight stays in hotels were 155,930 compared to 132,297 in April 2013.
Nights spent by foreign tourists accounted for 79% of the total number of overnight stays in April and increased by 19% compared with April 2013. At the same time the overnight stays of Icelanders increased by 15%.
