In June 2014, overnight stays in hotels were 239,700 compared to 231,800 in June 2013.
Nights spent by foreign tourists accounted for 90% of the total number of overnight stays in June and increased by 6% compared with June 2013. At the same time the overnight stays of Icelanders decreased by 15%.
