In July 2014, overnight stays in hotels were 299,300 compared to 285,400 in July 2013.
Nights spent by foreign tourists accounted for 91% of the total number of overnight stays in July and increased by 6% compared with July 2013. At the same time the overnight stays of Icelanders decreased by 2%.
