Statistics Iceland: Taxable wages in May increased by 6.7% between years

The total sum of taxable wages in May increased by 6.7% between years. Increase between months, from April to May 2025 was 4.6%. The total sum of taxable wages in May was about 186.1 billion ISK. The number of employees was about 218,400 and the number of employers about 22,000. Note that the data have not been adjusted for inflation.
