In March 2004 there were 2,304 members of staff in 36 upper secondary schools in Iceland working in 2,288 full-time equivalent jobs. The number of women has increased year by year and in March 2004 they are 55% of staff members and work just over 50% of all full-time equivalent jobs. Males are more likely to work overtime while women are more often found in part-time jobs.
