Improvements in the processing of the Icelandic Labour Force Survey

In the beginning of 2021 new methods were introduced for the processing of results for the Icelandic Labour Force Survey. In order to reduce the nonresponse bias in the results of the survey, changes have been made in the weights of the survey. Estimates based on new weights indicate an underestimation of the unemployment rate in Iceland until now.
