The number of persons in the labour force in the 4th quarter of 2015 was 192,800 corresponding to an activity rate of 83.3%. The number of employed persons was 186,000 while unemployed persons were 6,800. The employment rate was 80.4% and the unemployment rate was 3.1%. From the 4th quarter of 2014 the number of employed persons has increased by 3,200 and the employment rate increased by 1.3 percentage points. At the same time the number of unemployed persons fell by 900 and the unemployment rate decreased by 0.5 points. The unemployment rate among females was 4% and 3.1% among males.
